Purecipes Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Purecipes handles personal data when you use the Purecipes mobile applications, website, and related services (together, the “Service”).

2. Personal data we collect and why

3. Location
Purecipes does not request or collect your device’s precise or approximate location. We may receive general technical information, such as an IP address, from the systems that deliver the Service; this may indicate a broad geographic area.
4. Service providers and sharing
We use service providers that process personal data on our behalf or for their own purposes as described in their privacy notices. Depending on the platform and features you use, these include:
- Google Firebase for authentication, analytics, and crash reporting;
- Google AdMob for advertising and advertising measurement;
- Mixpanel for product analytics;
- Usercentrics to collect and manage consent preferences;
- RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlements;
- Apple App Store and Google Play to process in-app purchases;
- Google, Apple, and Meta/Facebook when you choose their sign-in options; and
- hosting, storage, communications, security, and other providers needed to operate the Service.
We may also disclose data where required by law, to protect rights and safety, to enforce our terms, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell personal data.
5. International transfers
Some providers process data outside the United Kingdom or European Economic Area. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers, such as adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
6. Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes in this Policy. Account and User Content data are generally retained while your account remains active. We delete or anonymise them after account deletion unless we need to retain particular information for legal obligations, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, security, or backup recovery. Analytics, diagnostic, consent, and purchase data are retained according to our operational needs and the retention settings of the relevant provider.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data. No internet or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask for access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of your personal data; object to processing based on legitimate interests; withdraw consent; and request a portable copy of data you provided to us. You can delete your account through the Service where available or contact us at info@purecipes.app. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
If you are in the UK, you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will publish the updated version here and change the “Last updated” date. Where a change is material, we will provide additional notice where required by law.
